I Chart the Future

This year for Christmas, I wanted to make something for my dad. I came across a shirt my dad made for his company, Twin Media, years ago when I was very young. I felt this would be a great base for a project. I decided that I wanted it to show a connection to his new company, Pencil Pixels.

I began by embroidering a pencil near the chart. Then I also embroidered part of the graph's reflection.

Then, I added the quilling. I made dozens of "pixels" out of quilling paper. I started with a color close to that of the shirt, then worked my way to white with one additional color in between.

It now has a place in my dad's new home office.
